Questions crews ask

Can I send my list in my own format?

Yes. Send the list exactly as you already use it by WhatsApp or email. If you prefer more structure, the website planner is available as an optional way to organise the same details.

What does yacht provisioning cover?

Soualiga can arrange fine provisions, fresh produce, special cuts, fish and seafood, pantry goods, beverages, wines and Champagne, dietary products, flowers, interior and housekeeping items. The categories are a starting point, not a limit.

What if I need something that is not shown?

Send the full request. Unusual, imported and hard-to-find items are considered individually, and Sharon will let you know what may be arranged for the yacht.

How much notice do you need?

Allow at least one week for locally sourced orders and at least two weeks for orders containing items flown from Europe. Larger or more complex requests may need longer.

How do substitutions work?

If an item is unavailable, Soualiga proposes an alternative. You approve every substitute before it is purchased.

How are costs communicated?

Costs depend on current supplier prices, freight, fuel, season, availability and the handling required. Soualiga reviews the list against current conditions and keeps you informed as the request is confirmed; the website does not generate a fixed quote.

Is sending my list a confirmed order?

No. Sending the list starts the conversation. Soualiga reviews availability, alternatives, costs, timing and delivery details with you before the order is confirmed.

Where do you deliver?

Soualiga delivers to every marina across Sint Maarten and Saint-Martin and provides yacht-provisioning delivery to St Barth. Exact handoff details are confirmed with the request.

Do you have a minimum order?

No. There is no minimum order, although larger or more complicated requests should be sent as early as possible.
